I’m starting something new today. Here is the backstory…
Pretty much every day, I find myself listening to something that will either inspire me, teach me something new or impact me in a positive way. Sometimes it’s a podcast, other times it’s a video, sermon or song.
While in daily conversations, I regularly reference what I am listening to (apparently quite a bit). I’ve been noticing a trend…those who know me are starting to ask me, “So what are you listening to today?”, even before it comes out of my mouth.
As I started to take notice, I remembered listening to a Dan Miller podcast years ago and hearing Dan suggest, “If you get asked the same question 3 times, you need create a piece of content on it immediately.” So, here’s my post that’s well overdue.
So, I’ve decided to share “What I’m Listening To” with you as well because who knows, it might be helpful for you, too.
This week I’ve been listening to a really good podcast from one of my favorite all-time podcasters, Pat Flynn. Pat is not only super knowledgeable about the new trends regarding online businesses, but is as genuine and authentic as anyone out there. He is also a great interviewer. In this episode, he and Amy Porterfield of AmyPorterfield.com discussed email list building and free lead magnets.
