If you’re overwhelmed with hundreds of unanswered emails, Unroll.me is a great free tool to reduce the number of emails in your inbox and save you time. In this short, step-by-step blog post, I’ll share how you can use it.
Step 1: Learn to Prioritize
Changing your email habits is a conscious choice that could give you more time to focus on things that really matter. Still, sometimes it feels like we “should” read absolutely every email that reaches or inbox to avoid “missing out” on something (an offer, a great idea, etc.)
If you want to set yourself free from Email, you’ll need to make a conscious effort to prioritize and categorize.
Step 2: Sign up for Unroll.me and login

Step 3: Choose the time of day you’d like to receive your daily roll-up (morning, afternoon or evening).

Step 4: Select List or Grid view

Step 5: Go through each of your email subscriptions.

Identify the emails that get you value and the ones that are not worth your time, and choose “add to roll-up”, “ unsubscribe” or “keep in inbox”.
While reviewing your roll-up you can view any individual email or send it to your inbox with one click.
The strategies above are very useful to give you more freedom, but do you know others? Let me know in the comments!
